Glass Fusing and Slumping:
Glass Fusing is the process of cutting and shaping cold sheet glass, laying out a design or pattern and heating up that sheet glass fusing it into 1 new solid sheet of glass itself. After fusing that design or pattern into a new sheet we slump that sheet over or into a pre-made mold such that the glass sheet takes the shape of the mold.
The Introduction to Glass Fusing class will teach you how to cut and shape the cold glass sheets and layout designs or patterns for a few different projects. The Next Step in Fusing will advance your skills as a glass artist allowing for your inner most expressive artistic abilities to come through.
